Peaks & Valleys Global Sourcing Studioworks is a full-service design, prototyping, development, sourcing, and production studio serving the outdoor industry and adjacent technical categories. Founded in 2025 by Sara Davison, the studio was built to deliver a truly end-to-end approach to product creation — from initial concept through factory placement and final production.

With over 19 years of product development and global sourcing experience — including eight years at Patagonia, where Sara led Development for the Fly-Fishing, Workwear, and Technical Surf categories — Peaks & Valleys combines technical precision, creative intuition, and global execution capability.

The studio operates with a seasoned team of technical designers, developers, and pattern makers with backgrounds at Arc’teryx, Patagonia, Sugoi, Lululemon, Spyder, Pearl Izumi, and YETI to name a few. This collective expertise allows Peaks & Valleys to support projects at every stage, whether refining a single garment or building an entire product line from the ground up.

A defining strength of the studio lies in its pattern-making expertise. Its senior pattern makers, former Patagonia & Arc’Teryx veterans with over 35 years of experience, brings exceptional precision in solving fit challenges, executing complex pattern changes, and engineering new patterns from inception. This ensures garments are not only aesthetically strong, but technically sound, high-performing, and comfortable in use.

In-house prototyping capabilities — including block development, mock-ups, and hands-on construction — allow the studio to move beyond conceptual design into tangible refinement. Working directly with physical samples enables early-stage fit and performance validation, reduces downstream development risk, and aligns execution closely with each client’s strategic goals.
